How to use R4i gold 3ds RTS card?

R4i gold is a pre-flashed flashcard which means you can use it to work on the latest firmware such as DSi V1.45 and 3DS v11.10.0-43 directly, you can use it out of the box, no need to do any update. When you receive this item, just download the latest wood firmware, put the firmware and some games into the root directory of your SD card, insert them to your console and power on, very easy.

1. Download the latest Wood R4 kernel RAR file from here:   WOOD R4 V1.64
2. Extract the files, copy __rpg and _DS_MENU.DAT to the root directory of your microSD card
3. Copy .nds games to microSD card
4. Put the microSD card into the R4i gold 3DS flashcard and insert into your DS/DSi/3DS.
5. Power on your DS/DSi/3DS and run. 

Multimedia Function Feature on R4i gold 3ds

If you want to use the R4i gold to watch a video(DPG format), read the e-books or listen to a music, please do it like this.

1. Download the latest wood firmware from here: WOOD R4 V1.64, Unzip the file, you will get

2. Download the R4i gold official firmware from here: WOOD R4 V1.64 Unzip the file, you will get

3. Copy all the file (1,2,3,4) into your SD card. And also copy the DPG format video, MP3 music and e-books to your SD card.You will get

4.Put the SD card into your R4i gold and then insert the flashcard into your DS/DSi/3DS console and power on, you will get(Click and enlarge the pics)

How to upgrade r4i gold 3ds?

First, you should prepare one DSL/NSI Console

1. Please download the latest Wood R4 kernel RAR file from here:   WOOD R4 V1.64. Extract the files and copy all the files to the root of your SD card.

2. Download R4i gold patch and unzip it. There should be two files: R4iGold_3DS62_Patch_NDSi_3DS.nds, R4iGold_3DS62_Patch_NDSL_3DS.nds
If you use the DSL console to upgrade your r4i card, please only copy the R4iGold_3DS62_Patch_NDSL_3DS.nds to the root of your SD card.(R4iGold_3DS62_Patch_NDSi_3DS.nds for DSI console)3.

3. Just power your NDSL on and boot up. Select the R4iGold_3DS62_Patch_NDSL_3DS.nds. Press A to start updating.

4. It will show"upgrading succeds" which means you upgrade the r4i gold 3ds successfully.

If the upgrading failed, please remove your card from the console and then insert it again. Then try to upgrade it again.
