R4iSDHC 3DS Card FAQ
Q1 : I have updated my DSi to V1.45,can i use this item as well ?
A1:Yeah,r4isdhc 3ds will work well on your console,we have tested,it can work perfect on 3ds v4.5.0-10 and DSi V1.45 without any updating needed,you just need use the latest firmware v1.64b.
Q2: If the screen displays “Please upgrade the hardware for support the latest firmware”, how should i do?
A2 : When your r4i 3ds card upgraded successfully for NDSi 1.4.5 or 3DS V4.5.0-10, but still using with old kernel , an error message will be showed as below, please download and update the latest kernel to use,you can download the latest firmware here : R4i-3DS V1.64b English.
Q3 : Why do I get the error message “Loading… System date error! Please check NDS system date.” How to fix it?
A3 : It might be caused by any one of the following:
- The DS console is running out of battery.
- Transferring a .SAV file from a different console who perhaps has a different date on their DS.
- Attempting to activate cheats in certain applications.
The above problem can solved quite quickly with a little trick by changing the system date of the DS console to an earlier date: such as that in the 2009.
Q4 : Why do I get the error message Menu ? How do I fix it?
A4: If your DS is showing this error message, it means that the kernel/driver is missing on the microSD memory card inserted in the flashcart. Once the correct kernel/driver is copied onto the microSD, the issue will be resolved immediately.
Q5: Why do I get the message There is no card inserted in the DS Game Card Slot even though I do insert the r4i SDHC card in it?
A5 : There are many reasons for this message, which can range from dirt / dust on the micro-SD card, corrupt micro-SD data, a faulty r4i SDHC card / micro-SD connector, or the more serious and worrying misalignment of the DS slot 1 connectors. Usually , the porblem result from the SD Card,you can wipe the sd card first and check whether you have download the right firmware and insert it again.
Q6 : How to return back to the firmware/kernel during playing game?
A6 : Press at the keys (left + right + up + down + X + Y + B + A + L + R) during playing games.
Q7 : What can R4i Save dongle be used for ?
A7 : SaveDongle is a USB dongle which can backup games saver of original 3DS/NDSI/NDSL game cart to PC. It also allows restoring the PC backup games saver back to original 3DS/NDSI/NDSL game cart.
